Eric Burger is the executive director of Shelter KC, a ministry to men and women experiencing homeless in the Kansas City area. With over 35 years of rescue mission experience, he previously served executive director of Highway 80 Rescue Mission in Longview, Texas. His experience includes nearly twenty years as executive director, four years as associate director and twelve years as director of youth services. He has served at six rescue mission ministries from Seattle, WA to Atlantic City, NJ. He also has been involved with many other related organizations, including Citygate Network/Association of Gospel Missions. He also serves on the BioEthics Committee at Truman Medical Center. Eric and his wife, Robbyn, have two adult daughters and four grandchildren.
