Joe DiCarlo is the Global Ambassador at Medical Teams International whose primary responsibilities include: 1) the physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being of staff worldwide, 2) provide spiritual enrichment opportunities for staff, and 3) develop partnerships with the faith community in the locations where we work to achieve positive maternal and newborn child health outcomes. Joe is a 25-year veteran of Medical Teams, coming alongside the organization during our response to Hurricane Mitch in 1998 in Honduras. Joe played a critical role in building our reputation in disaster response with innovative and highly effective programming and has been instrumental in developing international program alliances with partners around the world. Joe is also currently serving as Interim Executive Director of Medical Teams’ U.S. Programs
