Eric and Penny Schering Interview - Pacific Island Ministries – OvercomersTV.Live #336
Eric spent growing up years in Kalamazoo, MI. Attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI and then Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids. Then we served as missionaries with Pacific Island Ministries in Papua New Guinea from 1980-1985. Then served as pastor of three Christian Reformed Churches from 1985 - 2004. In between I served on the staff of Promise Keepers in Denver from 1994-1998. The most recent church where I served as pastor was Bethel Christian Reformed Church in DeMotte, IN. Then from 2005 to the present Penny and I have served again as missionaries with Pacific Island Ministries in Papua New Guinea.
Penny spent some of her growing up years in Papua New Guinea where her parents served as missionaries. She attended Calvin College for approximately 3 years. She and Eric married in 1977. They have 5 children and 16 grandchildren.
And this is the victory that has overcome the world our faith...
