Nilsa, a Puerto Rican mother of 2 teenagers, who has been featured on Gorka Reality Check and news articles with op-eds on the faith and Hispanic vote, is a Political Strategist and Hispanic Division Director for the Faith & Freedom Coalition after previously serving as Faith Director for the FL GOP from 2015 – 2018. Her division’s coalition of organizations, pastors, and activists have led some of the largest efforts in Hispanic voter education and voter registration across the US in recent elections. In 2020, Nilsa served on Governor Bill Lee’s Economic Recovery Group during the pandemic, providing a translation team for the state’s reopening phases for Hispanic Tennesseans along with advocates from Latinos for Tennessee.
