Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) spoke at a rally for Kansas’ Attorney General Derek Schmidt, the GOP gubernatorial candidate.
DeSantis brought up the illegal immigrants he sent to Martha’s Vineyard.
DeSantis said, “The one place in the country where we see virtually no law and order is at the southern border. And this is a crisis. It’s now getting a little more attention.”
The crowd immediately stood and applauded. DeSantis continued, “This is a crisis. It is a crisis. And it’s a manufactured crisis because of Biden’s failed policies.”
The leftist community of Martha’s Vineyard did not help immigrants regarding jobs and housing, but they called National Guard and the people were deported off the island.
DeSantis concluded, “You have a legislature here that will produce a lot of good legislation. You just need a governor that will sign the legislation. And you guys can make that happen.”
Schmidt said DeSantis was “a man who was willing to step up and make the hard decisions.” READ MORE...
