160 people have been arrested in Polk County, Florida under the watch of Sheriff Grady Judd.
Judd held a press conference outlining the 160 people arrested in a large human trafficking sting. The operation successfully caught numerous people involved in the sex trade, including prostitutes and others seeking to procure sexual services.
Judd identified that an alarming number of people caught in the sting work as teachers, coaches, Disney employees, police officers and correctional officers.
The sheriff identified Deputy Police Chief Jason DiPrima and another state corrections officer who were caught in the sting.
A math teacher named Carlos Gonzalez at New Dimensions High School was busted as well as track coach John Layton of West Orange High School. He was arrested for attempting to solicit a prostitute and he was allegedly wearing a shirt from the high school track team during the arrest. READ MORE...
