Jim McCormick was born and raised in Williamsport, PA, the 4th of 5 children. Jim enjoyed playing baseball and basketball in his youth, yet found more joy in Boy Scouts, Scouting became his passion and at the age of 15 he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Jim moved to Missoula, MT a few years after graduating from high school and started working at Sears Roebuck and Company. He ended up working for Sears for 30 years, with a career that spanned multiple sales and management jobs culminating as the Store Manager here in Great Falls.

Jim felt called by God to work at Great Falls Rescue Mission (GFRM) in 2009 and also to become an ordained Pastor in his church, the Church of the Nazarene. Two years later, he began working at GFRM in multiple leadership positions and eventually became the Executive Director in 2019, a position he still holds today. Jim completed his education for ministry requirements in 2016 and was ordained as a Pastor in the Church of the Nazarene. Jim resides in Great Falls with his wife, Wendy, of 43 years, along with their two grown daughters, their families and 7 wonderful grandchildren.
