Jerry Shannon Interview - A Child’s Hope Int’l - OvercomersTV.Live #402

Jerry Shannon is the current Executive Director of A Child’s Hope Int’l, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. A Child’s Hope Int’l is focused on helping children in extreme need to thrive by providing families with access to food, clean water, education and critical care, locally and globally.

Jerry has been an advocate for vulnerable populations nationally and internationally for over 30 years. He has served as a pastor, church planter, NGO leader and held various professional roles within nonprofits.

Jerry and his wife, Christy, have 7 children and 1 grandchild. Their family expanded through adoption three times and they have been instrumental in the lives of others choosing to adopt.

For 8 years the Shannons lived in the Kore’ slum of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, there they co-founded an Ethiopian led orphan prevention initiative that continues to expand among the most vulnerable populations in Addis Ababa and the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Some of their fondest memories are of serving together among the children and families living in the slum.

Over the years they have been instrumental in helping other organizations to be formed and serve vulnerable populations.

And this is the victory that has overcome the world our faith...
