Is there a big difference between the titles 'poll worker' and 'election judge'? Some states use the title 'poll worker' but that title does not exist in Missouri statutes. People who work at the polls on election day are called election judges. Think about that. Does 'election judge' sound like more responsibility? If that's the title in Missouri statutes, why do some election authorities prefer to use 'poll worker'?
