On my show today, guest Allan Topol, bestselling author of 17 novels, will talk about his newest book, "The Chinese Agent," a story of International Intrigue. Allan's books have been translated into Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, and Hebrew. He graduated from the Carnegie Institute of Technology, majored in chemistry but abandoned science, and obtained a law degree from Yale University. Allan is a partner in a major Washington law firm and an avid wine collector who has traveled extensively researching dramatic locations for his novels.

My second guest is Desmond Astaire, the grand prize winner in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future Contest, earning him the Golden Pen Award trophy and a cash prize of $5,000 in addition to having his story, "Gallows," published in the international bestselling anthology, L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 38. The trade paperback was released on June 28th in stores everywhere, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-a-Million.
